Trough the visionary thinking of ex. MLA Hon. Shri. Shivajirao Chothe this college was founded and established under the patronage of Swami Ramanand Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Shahagad's in the year 1997-98 at Ghansawangi named Sant Ramdas Art, Commerce and Science College, Ghansawangi which in affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. Now this college has been proved to be one of the best rural colleges in Jalna District. This college in committed to impart the qualitative education and to improve overall personality of the youth nearby periphery to face the challenges and have an employment in the competitive modern world. Hard working, young, skilled, devoted and intelligent teaching and non teaching staff is the asset of the college, who are supportive one for the students which promotes enthusiasm in higher education, so that college had taken a giant leap in the development area within a short period of time.
Jalna District in one of the educationally backward districts in Maharashtra and India too. Our teaching and non-teaching staff frequently visits nearby villages and promotes, encourages, initiates inspires the guardians and students to have a qualitative higher education.
